🌱 Local Mental Health Services + 3 Leander Businesses Bankrupt + Jobs

Hey, everybody. It’s Tuesday in Cedar Park-Leander and I’m back in your inbox with everything you need to know about what’s happening locally. Here we go…

First, today’s weather:

Clouds breaking and hot. High: 97 Low: 78.

Here are the top three stories in Cedar Park-Leander today:

  1. Williamson County partnered with provider Bluebonnet Trails Community Services to have mental health care as one of the emergency services options available when a person calls 911 in addition to fire, EMS, and police. This helps eliminate the stigma of mental illness and gives callers access to mental health care. Leander ISD has also prioritized mental health through a student and family support team which offers free, in-school therapy for students in elementary through high school. (Community Impact Newspaper)
  2. Three Leander businesses have filed for voluntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection. Construction business Amenity Solutions LLC, construction business Kyros Industries LLC, and landscaping business ATXScapes LLC all filed on May 24 in the Western District of Texas. (The Business Journals)
