Hope Anderson, is the developer of Koselig, the new holiday pop-up shop in downtown Minot. Located at 110 East Central Ave., Koselig means cozy in Norwegian. Temporarily a holiday pop-up, Anderson hopes to eventually have the store go to year-round.
Nov. 12 was the opening, and Koselig will be open through Christmas. Anderson said following the Facebook page, Koselig Living, is the easiest way to get hours of operation and updates. November hours are Fridays from 4 -8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. On Instagram, visit Koselig.cozy.shop.
Koselig is a crafters consignment shop and carries quite a few local artisan items. Anderson said items include products that students from Minot High School created, and items from a company named Mason Jar Living, which has interchangeable accessories and lids for Mason jars.
Mindy Weisse, consigner and creator of MW Creations, has a variety of items she makes, including some gnome ornaments that are called nisse, which is gnome in Norwegian. The nisse are big sellers.
Anderson said she had been wanting to get her Koselig pop-up started and the space was available so she is trying it out. So far, she has had a great response and has already had some of her consigners in to replenish stock.
